Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen Finally Joins Its Sequels on Steam
The Utawarerumono series is a very popular tactical RPG/visual novel hybrid from Nihon. The second and third games in the serial came to Steam in January 2022, but the first title has yet to bring together them. Soon, that all changes. Today, the teams at AquaPlus, DMM GAmes, and Shiravune announced Prelude to the Fallen is coming to PC on January 21. Aslope the new release, the other 2 games are getting a few important updates. For fans of the serial, this is an crawly development. Utawarerumono has been around for a long time and it continues to exist very pop. If you've never seen them before, think of them as story-heavy visual novels with elements of Final Fantasy Tactics tossed in. Personally, I've never made the time to become into the series. Withal, I'd be lying if I said those elements don't have me intrigued.
And it's not just this new game that is getting support. Every bit part of releasing Prelude to the Fallen on PC, the team is adding car-save functionality. They'll bring that to the two sequels also. At present, this isn't some game-changing characteristic, but information technology is a prissy quality of life feature. Plus, dropping into already released games is a great gesture from the squad behind this release. They've also gone through and polished the English language translation for Prelude to the Fallen. All the same again, another welcome update from the team.
Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen comes to PC via Steam on January 21. The two sequels are already available on Steam.
